ELECTRONIC DELIVERY OPTION
TERMS AND CONDITIONS

You may choose to receive your PTIC insurance policy documents electronically by selecting the Electronic Delivery Option (“EDO”). Electronic insurance policy documents have exactly the same legal force as paper documents. PTIC’s Electronic Delivery Option is offered to you, but is conditioned on your acceptance of the EDO Terms and Conditions.

Please read the following EDO Terms and Conditions carefully. If you do not agree with any of these EDO Terms and Conditions, do not enroll in the Electronic Delivery Option.

Required Equipment and Software

Before you enroll in PTIC’s Electronic Delivery Option, you must have regular access to a computer capable of connecting to the Internet, and a browser capable of viewing PTIC’s Website. Your browser must be also capable of downloading, displaying, printing, and retaining documents in the Adobe Acrobat Portable Display Format (“PDF”), and you will need a valid email account.

Enrollment Procedures

You are required to confirm your email address when you elect PTIC’s Electronic Delivery Option. When you enroll in PTIC’s Electronic Delivery Option, we will ask for your email address and a confirmation email will be sent to you. You will be required to respond to PTIC’s email confirming your receipt. Enrollment in our Electronic Delivery Option will be automatically turned off 10 days after enrollment if you do not respond, and you will thereafter receive paper versions of all insurance policy documents by U.S. Mail.

Access to Documents

When new documents are available to review, you will receive an email message with a link to PTIC’s website. It is then your responsibility to log in to the website to view, save or print your documents. You may also log in to the website at any time to review, save or print your documents. PTIC will provide paper or electronic copies of your documents to you without charge upon your request.

PTIC will clearly identify the exact policy form and endorsement form you have purchased on each declarations page issued to you. If PTIC changes any policy form or endorsement, PTIC will notify you via email that you have the right to request and obtain without charge a paper or electronic copy of such form or endorsement.

Your policy documents and endorsements will be accessible on PTIC’s website for as long as the policy and endorsement remain in force. PTIC will archive all of your expired policies and endorsements on its website and make any expired policy and endorsement available upon your request for at least 5 years after expiration of the policy and endorsement. Each policy and endorsement will be posted and archived in a manner that enables you to print and save the policy and endorsement in PDF format without charge.

E-Mail Address Changes

When you enroll in the Electronic Delivery Option, it is your responsibility to inform PTIC of any subsequent changes to your email address and to keep your email account active and accessible. PTIC is not responsible for problems, or lack of notice, arising from your email account or from undelivered e-mail.

Undelivered E-mail

At any time, if an email is returned to us as undeliverable, we will first attempt to contact you and re-send the email. If we are unable to contact you, or if two emails sent to you are returned to us as undeliverable within a 30-day period, you will be automatically un-enrolled from the Electronic Delivery Option and you will receive paper documents. You may re-enroll in the Electronic Delivery Option by completing the enrollment process again and providing a valid email address.

Delivery via U.S. Mail and Request for Copies

PTIC may send certain documents to you via U.S. mail. PTIC will provide paper or electronic copies of your documents to you without charge upon your request.

Discontinuance of the Electronic Delivery Option

You may un-enroll at any time by calling PTIC or by logging on to our website and following the instructions for un-enrolling from the Electronic Delivery Option. You will be unenrolled within 10 days from the date of your request. You may also request a paper copy of any insurance policy document at any time without un-enrolling in the Electronic Delivery Option by contacting PTIC. The paper copy will be mailed to your postal address of record.

Modification and Acceptance of Terms

PTIC reserves the right to change these EDO Terms and Conditions at any time. Your continued participation in the Electronic Delivery Option will constitute your acceptance of any changes made to the EDO Terms and Conditions. Our EDO Terms and Conditions and any changes to those terms will be available on PTIC’s website.
